3 Easy Steps to Design Your Own Wire Retro Style Hoop Earrings

6mm Glass Beads
0.5mm Copper Wire

How to start the wire hoop earrings?

Step 1: Make the earring hoop

1st, cut a length of 0.8mm copper wire to approximately 15cm long;
2nd, fold the wire in half against the tip of round nose plier;
3rd, shape the wire into a hoop by using the mandrel;
4th, keep 1cm wire at each end;
5th, bent the 1cm on one end into 90 degree and then make a simple loop with it;
6th, clamp another 1cm end and bent slightly to close the hoop.

Step 2: Make 4 “S” shape embellishments

1st, prepare 4 lengths of 0.8mm copper wire to approximately 7cm;
2nd, roll two ends for creating an “S” shape component. 4 units are required here.

Step 3: Attach the wire wrap components and beads

1st, fix a length of 0.5mm copper wire onto the hoop;
2nd, string one 6mm glass bead and fasten by making another 2 or 3 wraps;
3rd, attach the “S” shape component;
4th, string the drop electroplate glass bead and make it stay in place;
5th, add another “S” shape element and 6mm glass bead in the same way;
6th, complete the pair of handmade wire hoop earring!
