How to Make a Wrapped Friendship Bracelet with Colorful Nylon Threads

Today I would like to make a friendship bracelet in the simple way of nylon thread wrapping. For this adjustable double-strand bracelet, I chose 3 kinds of colors in gradient order: pink, violet and purple. Next you can follow our detailed instruction to make a wrapped friendship bracelet.

Necessities for nylon wrapped friendship bracelet:

1mm pink nylon thread
1mm violet nylon thread
1mm purple nylon thread
Brown suede cord
Scissors
Glue gun

How to make a wrapped friendship bracelet with multiple threads:

Step 1: Wrap threads around first strand

1st, cut a 40cm length of suede cord, leave 12cm tail at one end and mark the position with a clip;
2nd, cut a long piece of pink thread, wrap it evenly from the clip position;
3rd, when the coiling reaches 2cm, hot glue the last coil;
4th, cut another piece of purple thread and wrap it around the cord;
5th, change pink thread and continue the wrapping;
6th, glue the last coil of pink thread;
7th, trim off excess pink and purple threads.
8th, cut a fresh piece of violet thread and wrap it around cord following the pink;
9th. pull the violet thread back through the previous coils.

Step 2: Do the first sliding knot

1st, trim off excess violet thread and melt the end;
2nd, release the 12cm tail in step 1;
3rd, make a sliding knot with the tail after be sure of the bracelet size;
4th, trim off excess tail and the loop just formed should be slightly bigger than the wrist size.

Step 3: wrap threads around second strand

1st, wrap purple thread around the other end of suede cord;
2nd, wrap violet thread to follow;
3rd, cut off excess violet thread;
4th, then wrap purple again and change pink;
5th, when the wrapping process is done, trim off excess thread.

Step 4: finish the second knot

1st, loop the rest suede cord around the other end;
2nd, make the second sliding knot and trim off excess cord.
