Whimsical Ideas on Making a “Be Your Umbrella” Seed Bead Fringe Earrings

This pattern is inspired by a rainy day. I just love the dripping drops from sky and the colorful umbrellas blossomed out at that time. 3mm Round Seed Beads
Tibetan Umbrella Pendants
Earrings Hooks
0.5mm Copper Wire
0.8mm Copper Wire
Wire Cutter Pliers

Side Cutting Pliers

How to make the seed bead fringe earrings?

Step 1: Make a Chandelier component with two types of copper wire

1st, take the 0.8mm wire, clamp the one end and wrap 7 loop against the pliers in same directions. Trim off the excess wire. 2 pieces are required;


2nd, wrap the 0.5mm copper wire around the top half of 7 loops;
3rd, bring the wire back to center (the 4th loop) and make a wrapped loop over it. Keep wrapping the second time to the other end of chandelier component. Do the same to the other piece.

Step 2: Make the fringe with seed beads and 0.5mm wire

1st, pass the starting 3cm part of 0.5mm wire through the first loop on chandelier component. Make a loop against the pliers. Wrap the shorter wire end around the longer one;
2nd, slide one 3mm round seed bead;
3rd, make a wrapped loop by using the pliers. Remove the excess wire;


4th, pass the starting 3cm part of wire through the previous loop. Then make a wrapped loop as did at the beginning;
5th, slide one 3mm round seed bead;
6th, make a wrapped loop against the pliers. Remove the excess wire;
7th, repeat the 4th~6th processes for another 3 units in first fringe;


8th, make the rest fringes by decreasing and increasing the number of wrapped bead link units like: 4-3-2-3-4-5.
Attentions: attach the umbrella pendant while make the 4th fringe.

Step 3: Add the earring hooks

Open the loop on earring hook, attach the fringe component. Close the loop.
