Tutorial on Making Stacked Leather Bracelet with Simple Overhand Knots

I love most the stacked bracelet pattern that ivory pearl links bridge leather cords together forming ladders shape. Glittering pearls always add a touch of elegance for women, especially against the knotted brown leather.

Necessities for stacked leather cord bracelets:

0.5mm golden copper wire
1mm brown leather cord
6mm ivory glass pearls
8mm ivory glass pearls
Golden shank button
Round nose plier
Flat nose plier
Wire cutter
Scissors

How to make stacked bracelet with leather cords and pearls:

Step 1: Make pearl links

1st, cut a piece of copper wire and make wire wrapped end at one end;
2nd, slide a pearl onto wire;
3rd, wire wrap a loop at the other end;
4th, in the same way prepare 12 small bead links and 2 large bead links.

Step 2: make knotted bracelet

1st, cut two 50cm length of leather cord and fold them in half;
2nd, coil another piece of wire around the 4-strand cord 2cm away from the fold;
3rd, cut off excess wire;
4th, 2cm away from the coiling knot each cord;
5th, slide bead links onto cords;
6th, tie overhand knots near the links to secure them from moving;
7th, repeat knotting and adding links;
8th, all bead links are positioned on the cords.

Step 3: attach button to stacked bracelet

1st, 2-3 cm away from the last set of bead links coil copper wire around the cords;
2nd, cut off excess wire;
3rd, slide shank button onto cords;
4th, tie a large overhand knot beside the button and trim off excess cords.
