Easy Tutorial on Making a Blooming Flower Ring with Graded Red-colored Satin Ribbons

Supplies needed for making the flower ring:

Satin Ribbon
6mm Glass Pearl
1.5mm Aluminum Wire
Needle
Sewing Thread
Mark Pen
Lighter
Scissors

Step-by-step instructions on making the flower ring:

Step 1: Make the focal flower with ribbon

1st, cut out 2 square ribbon for each color;
2nd, trim the square pieces into round ones, and those are the petals;
3rd, melt the edges of petals by using lighter rapidly;


4th, prepare the needle and thread well. Then, sew the petals from large one to small one. Finally, add the 6mm glass pearl bead;
5th, thread the needle back through the ribbon petals to fasten the pearl;
6th, sew the needle through the ribbon petals over and over again for secure. Set the flower aside and then start to make the ring setting (Do not snip the thread).

Step 2: Make the ring setting

1st, take the aluminum wire and mark pen;
2nd, wrap the wire around pen for three times;
3rd, keep 3~4cm wire at end and then make another two wraps to hold together the previous ones.

Step 3: Combine the ribbon flower and ring setting

1st, take the two elements and then sew them together firmly;
2nd, wrinkle the ribbon petals with fingers;
3rd, trim the leftover thread.
