Make a Bling and Unique Bridal Cuff Bracelet with Rhinestone Cupchain and Bugle Beads

Rhinestone cupchain has been widely used to add sparkle to fashion accessories, and in today’s project I will show you how to make unique bracelets with it for a stunning effect. This bling bracelet is actually easy to make and has incorporated several black glass bugle beads for maximum impact. Here we go!

Supplies needed for making the unique bracelets:

Golden Rhinestone Chain
Black Bugle Beads
Leftover Pins
Slide Lock Clasps
0.3mm Tiger Tail Wire
Wire Cutter Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Side Cutting Pliers
Bead Reamer (optional)

How to start the bling rhinestone chain and bugle bead bracelet?

Step 1: Prepare the rhinestone chains

1st, cut 3 pieces of rhinestone chains to approximately 22~24cm;


2nd, open the first rhinestone bead of each strand by using a bead reamer and wire cutter pliers; 3rd, fold one tip of the pins, insert the folded part into the rhinestone bead and then close the bead carefully (The processes are as same as what did in project: Making a Vintage Choker Necklace with Beads and Rhinestone Chain).

Step 2: Attach part of the slide lock clasp

1st, keep 1cm part at end of each pin;
2nd, loop the 1cm part;
3rd, hook the loops on clasp and then close the loop with pliers;


4th, repeat the same processes for the other two chains.

Step 3: Add the black bugle beads

1st, fasten the clasp on a desk with three pins;
2nd, cut a piece of tiger tail wire measuring nearly 4m (or two 2m-long parts if you know the technique: How to add new wire);
3rd, string one bugle bead to the center;
4th, place the newly added bugle bead under the three rhinestone chains;
5th, get another bugle bead and place it at the gap between first and second rhinestone beads on three chains. Then, pass the two wire ends through it from two directions;


6th, place one new bugle bead under the chains and then thread the two wire ends through in from two directions;
7th, add one bugle bead between second and third rhinestone beads on three chains. Then, pass the two wire ends through it from two directions;


8th, add bugle beads between the rhinestone beads and on the back side in a similar way;
9th, stop adding bugle beads when finish the entire chain or get an ideal length;


10th, weave the leftover wire backwards through the bugle beads over and under the chains.

Step 4: Connect the chain with the other part of clasp

As what did in the 2nd step, you’ll need to: prepare three pin, fold one end, open the last rhinestone bead, insert the folded pin part in and close the bead with pliers.
