Make Flower Hoop Earrings with Colorful Wood Beads Step By Step

In a vesture of brilliant sunshine, I really feel that spring is coming. Today I would like to introduce a beautiful pair of flower hoop earrings which are quite suitable for the wearing in warm seasons. I will show you how to bead and knot the flower pattern within a few of simple steps.

Necessities for DIY beaded flower hoop earrings:

1mm aqua nylon thread
0.8mm silvery copper wire
4mm golden spacer beads
6mm colorful wood beads
Silvery earring hooks
Round nose plier
Flat nose plier
Wire cutter
Scissors
Glue gun
Lighter

How to make beaded flower hoop earrings step by step:

Step 1: Wire wrap hoops

1st, wrap 0.8mm copper wire around thread spool twice;
2nd, cut out 2 hoops.

Step 2: Braid flower pattern

1st, cut a 60cm length of nylon thread, tie a first square knot around a hoop;
2nd, slide a golden spacer and tie a second square knot to secure the spacer bead;
3rd, slide a wood bead onto hoop and string 3 golden spacers onto both thread ends;
4th, tie a pair of square knots beneath the wood bead;
5th, slide another golden spacer onto hoop and repeat above processes;
6th, make flower pattern in rainbow color.

Step 3: Finish the hoop earrings

1st, after finishing the last flower, tie a loose square knot;
2nd, drip a bit of hot glue and tighten the square knot;
3rd, do coiling with both thread ends;
4th, hot glue the last coil and cut off excess threads;
5th, melt the thread ends with lighter;
6th, attach ear hook onto the beaded flower hoop.
