How to Make a Glass Bead Embroidered Necklace Step By Step

Take a look here and check out how to make an embroidered necklace at home, by using some glass beadsd and tiger tails. Just a simple embroidery technique needed. Here I display my way of DIY an embroidered necklace. Let’s go!

Materials for making an embroidered necklace

6 mm glass bicone beads
12 mm glass drop beads faceted
crimp beads
bead tip
Green tiger tail 240 cm
1 lobster clasp
splitrings 6 or 8 mm

end cutting plier

How to make a green embroidered necklace ?

Step 1: Make one end for embroidered necklace

1, cut the green tiger tail in 3 pieces each 80 cm
2, put the 3 ends into calotte and crimp bead.
3, flatten crimp bead and close calotte, adjust lobster clasp with splitting ring onto calotte.

Step2: Embroid beads onto tiger tails

1, slide 7 glass drop faceted green beads onto tiger tail;
2, take the two left pieces of tiger tail and put a green bicone glass bead onto them;
3, take the two right tiger tail ends and put bicone glass bead on it, repeat this with same colour al together 4 times;
4th, continue doing 3rd in step2 above with 4 x light green, 4 x lime green, 4 x grass green beads.

Step3: Contiue embroidery to finish

1st, slide on a large round faceted green glass bead onto tiger tail;
2nd, repeat 2nd in step2 above up to 1nd in Step3 1 time;
3rd, add 7 green glass drop beads.onto the necklace and put calotte and crimp bead on tiger tail;
4th, cut off too much of tiger tail and squeeze crimp bead and adjust calotte over crimp beads.

Adjust split ring on to eye of calotte. Done!

We just finished an embroidered necklace. You can wear this green beaded necklace to show off among your friends. Of course you also can use your own favourite colour to make another one!
