Multi-Color Block Friendship Bangle Bracelet Design Instructions

There isn’t anything glittering but some colorful nylon threads. This DIY is a great way to recycle your old-fashioned bangles. Follow this tutorial to make a winter-inspired friendship bangle bracelet!

Necessities for handmade 4-colored friendship bangle bracelet:

1mm yellow nylon thread
1mm green nylon thread
1mm sky blue nylon thread
1mm purple nylon thread
1mm black nylon thread
Leather bracelet for bracelet making
Glue gun
Scissors
Lighter

Instructions for the colorful friendship bracelet design:

Step 1: Prepare one end of the bangle

1st, cut 4~6 pieces of 30cm nylon threads for yellow, green, blue and purple color;
2nd, according to above order hot glue one end of the threads onto leather bangle, and don’t forget to leave 3cm tail for the threads.

Step 2: Wrap alternate color block pattern

1st, cut a 5m length of black thread and coil it around the starting end 7 times;
2nd, remove blue threads, and then continue to coil black thread around the rest colors;
3rd, coil 5 times;
4th, reposition blue threads, remove yellow and purple and coil black thread 5 times around green and blue;
5th, then reposition yellow and purple, remove green threads and coil black thread around yellow, blue and purple 5 times;
6th, repeat from 2nd process.

Step 3: Finish the friendship bangle bracelet

1st, making the color block pattern until you reach the other end of leather bangle;
2nd, hot glue the rest threads onto leather bangle;
3rd, coil rest black thread around the 4 colors 7 times;
4th, hot glue the black thread onto bangle;
5th, trim off all the thread tails and melt ends with a lighter.
