Supplies needed in the easy to make headbands:

10mm Satin Ribbon
50mm Satin Ribbon
Blank Headband (or an old one)
Hot Melt Glue Gun
Scissors

How to make braided headbands with ribbon?

Step 1: Braid the ribbons

1st, take two 10mm satin ribbons, tie an overhand knot to hold them together. Pin the knot on a flat;
2nd, make a loop with the yellow ribbon in clockwise direction;
3rd, make a loop with the purple ribbon in counter clockwise direction. Next, insert the purple loop into the yellow one;
4th, tighten the yellow loop;
5th, make a loop with yellow ribbon and insert into the previous purple one;
6th, tighten the purple loop;
7th, make loop with the purple ribbon and insert into the previous yellow one;
8th, tighten the yellow loop;

Braid the ribbons
9th, repeat the 6th and 7th processes until get a same length of the headband;

10th, pass the purple ribbon through the yellow loop. Tighten the loop then. Keep 2~3cm at end and remove the excess.

Step 2: Glue the braided ribbon onto the headband

1st, unfasten the first overhand knot;
2nd, glue the braided ribbon part onto the headband;

3rd, wrap the starting end and ending end by using the 50mm ribbon. Lay the 50mm ribbon under the headband and wrap the ribbon twice as picture shows. Then, wrap an extra 2~3 times and remove the excess ribbon. Finally, seal with glue gun;
4th, repeat the above actions at the other end.
