How to start the beaded suede cord bracelet by tying square knots?
Step 1: Prepare two lengths of suede cord, about 25cm and 80cm long. Cross them on a flat with the longer one lying under.
Step 2: Firstly, fasten the starting 5~6cm part on short suede cord with tape. Next, pull the longer suede cord to make two ends be equal. Tie 6~7 square knots.
Step 3: String one blue heart lampwork bead, pull upwards to the square knots. Then, secure it with 2 square knots.
Step 4: String another two blue heart lampwork beads and fix in same way.
Step 5: Tie another 6~7 square knots as did in step 1.
Step 6: On the back side of bracelet, fasten the two working ends by tying square knot or a surgeon knot. Trim off the excess cord. Seal the cut with glue if necessary.
Step 7: Overlap the two ends of short suede cord, take another piece of short suede cord and make several square knots for a closure.
Tie an overhand at each end of cord.
Making this suede cord bracelet is actually easy and money-saving. However, depending on what types of knot you’ve mastered you can create a large range of complicated bracelet patterns.
