25mm Lace Trim, Black
11mm Shell Button, White
Sewing Threads (Red & Orange)
Brooch Finding, Red Copper
Needle
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun

How to make an ebullient felt flower brooch with black lace?

Step 1: sew felt pieces

1st, cut out a round piece from burgundy felt measuring 5cm, a round piece from red felt measuring 4cm, three heart shapes from bright red, orange and light orange felt respectively. The sizes of heart shapes are 2.5cm, 2cm and 1.5cm in order;
2nd, sew two round pieces by making running stitch along the edge of the red felt with red thread;
3rd, continue sewing two larger heart shapes on the round felt;
4th, sew the smallest heart shape atop with orange thread.

Step 2: add embellishments and brooch finding

1st, thread a shell button at the center of the top heart shape. Bring needle to the back, then knot and cut excess thread;
2nd, ruffle a long strip of lace trim naturally around the round pieces;
3rd, secure the ruffles at back with glue;
4th, glue a brooch finding at the backside of the black lace in place.
