Making this embroidered felt cat hair clip involves a combination of felt cutting and backward stitch. Both are simple techniques. How to make an embroidered felt cat hair clip?
Step 1: cut out cat shape
1st, cut out a rectangle from brown felt measuring 7*6cm. Trace a template of cat with a rectangular base measuring 7*2cm on the felt as shown and cut the shape off;
2nd, sew two imitation pearls on the cat as eyes.
Step 2: sew patterns and glue hair barrette
1st, backward stitch some patterns you like on the rectangular base with gold thread;
2nd, glue the hair barrette at back with a rectangular felt at the bottom.
