Free Instructions on Making Native American Beaded Hoop Earrings

In beading technique board, there is a brief tutorial about peyote stitch; today our earrings are based on the technique. Therefore before start the American beaded hoop earrings instructions, I highly recommend you to read the technique tutorial first.

0.3mm tiger tail wire
4mm brown glass seed beads
4mm red painted glass beads
4mm yellow painted glass beads

Native American beaded hoop earrings instructions:

Step 1: Do tubular peyote stitch

1st, cut a 65cm length of tiger tail and string 6 brown seed beads onto short end;
2nd, back the end through the 6 beads;
3rd, tighten the end and tie a firm knot there;
4th, thread long end through bead A;
5th, add first seed bead (against bead B) and thread the end through bead C;
6th, continue adding second bead (against bead D) and threading bead E;
7th, then add last bead (against bead F) and thread the end through bead A;
8th, thread the end through the first added bead;
9th, repeat above process to do peyote stitch.

Step 2: Make beaded tube

1st, finish 3 circles of brown beads;
2nd, continue to do 2 circles of white beads;
3rd, then 2 circles of green beads, 1 circle of yellow beads and 1 circle of red beads;
4th, slide the beaded tube onto earring hoop;
5th, back the end through beads and cut off excess wire.
