Simple Sewing Pattern for Making a Blue Stuffed Dolphin Pendant

Today I will show you how to make a stuffed dolphin as a pendant. The main material of making this dolphin is felt. You need to cut out dolphin shapes from felt and sew them into a finished stuffed dolphin with quilting. This is a sewing project, but you don’t have to worry, it’s simple.

Materials and tools for making a blue stuffed dolphin pendant:

4mm Round Seed Beads, Black
Sewing Threads (Cornflower Blue & Beige)
Felt (Blue & White)
Quilting
Needle
Scissors

How to make a blue stuffed dolphin pendant by sewing?

Step 1: sew two dolphin patterns

1st, cut out two same dolphin shapes from blue felt measuring 13cm or so and two belly shapes from white felt;
2nd, sew dolphin with belly along the edge of dolphin with running stitch;
3rd, do the same to sew the other dolphin and belly;
4th, sew eyes on two dolphins in place with two black seed beads.

Step 2: finish the stuffed dolphin

1st, overlap two dolphins with right side up and running stitch along the edge to sew them together. Add a half-folded felt strip in the middle of the top while sewing;
2nd, stuff the dolphin with appropriate amount of quilting;
3rd, continue sewing to finish the stuffed dolphin.
