Tutorial on Making DIY Bracelets with Lava Stone Beads and Pink Acrylic Beads

Today I just found that chocolate colored lava stone beads are a perfect match for the pink faceted acrylic beads. I have kept my dislike of lava stone beads for a long while, because I never used them and didn’t know the lovely aspect of these beads. Here I prepare DIY lava bead bracelet tutorial which will display you the loveliness of the beads.

Necessities for DIY lava bead bracelet:

10mm brown lava stone beads
6mm pink faceted acrylic beads
1mm black nylon thread
Scissors
Lighter

DIY lava bead bracelet tutorial starts now:

Step 1: Do right angle weave stitches

1st, cut 2 lengths of black thread, both measuring about 50cm;
2nd, leave 15cm tail and make an overhand knot;
3rd, cross both threads through a lava stone bead;
4th, add 1 pink bead to each thread and cross them through another lava stone bead;
5th, continue doing above right angle weave stitches until it reaches desired length;
6th, tie an overhand knot near the last lava bead.

Step 2: Braid the adjustable closure

1st, cut a 20cm length of black thread;
2nd, overlap the bracelet tails and do square knots with the thread;
3rd, when finishing 7 square knots, cut off excess thread and melt ends with lighter;
4th, cross tail threads through pink bead and secure bead with double overhand knots;
5th, cut off excess tails.
