Easy Instructions on Making a Wire Wrapped Peace Sign Pendant for Girls

As promised in my previous tutorial about making a Chunky Turquoise Peace Sign Necklace, I created this wire wrapped peace sign pendant here. Generally, it’s actually easy to have such new stylish and meaningful peace sign jewelry for girls, as long as one collects a roll of brass wire and several inches of chain. Now, let’s just set out to do it!

Supplies needed for the peace sign pendant:

0.5mm Brass Wire
A Turquoise Peace Sign Bead (optional reference)
Jumpring (optional)
Side Cutting Pliers
Wire Cutter Pliers

Details of the wire wrapped pendant instructions:

Step 1: Cut 3 lengths of 0.5mm brass to approximately 50cm. Align one end of them, keep 3.5~4.5cm at the starting, and then wrap them around the selected peace sign bead for two or three times.

Step 2: Hold the coils together by doing wraps with rest wires. Finally, secure with another two wraps.

Step 3: Direct the 3 wire strands downwards, twist them relatively random to the center of circle.

Step 4: Separate the 3 wires to create 3 branches of the peace sign pendant. For the center branch, take the middle wire downwards to the frame and then anchor with 3 wraps. Then, pull and twist back to the center of circle and do another 3 wraps. Next, repeat the two processes until finish entire wire.


Make the rest two branches in same way.

Step 5: Make a wrapped loop at top with the leftover 3.5~4.5cm wire.

Step 6: Add the wire peace sign pendant to a chain by using a jumpring. Close the jumpring.
