How to Make the Bracelet:

Materials list:

--35 grams of size 6 seed beads

--20 grams of size 11 seed beads

--(2) 1mm crimp beads

--Beading thread in size 0.3mm

--A lobster claw clasp and a tag

--A beading needle and beading thread (0.1mm diameter)

--A bead stop

--Beading wire (0.19” diameter)

--Thread conditioner

--Glue

--Crimping pliers

--Wire cutters

--A ruler

--Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut a length of beading wire to 12”. Attach your clasp to one end of the beading wire by sliding on a crimp and your lobster claw clasp, bending the wire back through the crimp to form a form, and securing the crimp with your crimping pliers.

2. String on size 6 seed beads until you reach about 7” (adjust according to your desired finished bracelet size, with the consideration of the clasp and tag) and attach your bead stop to prevent the beads from falling off as you work with them. Conceal the wire end near the clasp with the beads. The beads on the beading wire will be referred to as the core beads.

3. Cut a comfortable length of string and run it through the conditioner. Thread your needle and run it down through the first core bead until you have about a 3” tail. Use this tail to tie a couple knots around the bead. Now slide your needle up through the next core bead.

How to make the anemone bead stitch: String on two size 6 seed beads and three size 11 seed beads. Pass the needle back through the two size 6 seed beads and then back through the same core bead. Repeat two more times to make a total of three fringes. Then repeat a fourth time, but instead of passing the needle back through the same core bead and also through the next core bead. Each core bead will have four fringes attached to it.

Keep on making the anemone bead stitch until you reach the second to the last core bead.

4. Attach the tag by sliding on a crimp bead and the tag, running the wire end back through the crimp bead and a couple core beads, and securing the crimp with crimping pliers. Use your wire cutters to cut any excess wire close to the core bead. Apply a touch of glue to all the knots you made. Let the glue dry and then trim the excess string.

How to Make the Earrings:

Materials list:

-- (2) ear wires

-- (2) 1” head pins

-- (32) size 6 seed beads

-- (36) size 11 seed beads

-- Beading needle and beading thread (0.1mm diameter)

-- Wire cutters

--Round-nose pliers

--Scissors

--Glue

Instructions:

1. Cut a comfortable length of string. Thread your needle. String on a size 6 seed bead and tie a couple knots around it. This is your core bead.

2. Make the anemone stitch again, but this time make six fringes instead of four like in the bracelet pattern. To make the anemone stitch: string on two size 6 seed beads and three size 11 seed beads. Pass the needle back through the two size 6 seed beads and also through the core bead. Repeat until you have six fringes. Apply a touch of glue to the knots and trim the excess string.

3. Slide the core bead on a head pin. Then slide on three more size 6 seed beads. Form a loop at the top of the head pin, trim any excess wire, and attach it to an ear wire.

4. Repeat all steps for a second earring.
