Easy to Make Lifelike Christmas Tree Decorations with Pearl Beads

Different from the felt Christmas tree hanging decoration, this one is more stereoscopic. I pieced some solid felt leaves together to form the tree rather than cutting tree shapes simply. The different shades in this tree make it more lifelike. This is a very easy project about making felt Christmas tree decorations, just give it a shot!

8mm Acrylic Beads Imitation Pearl, Round (Peru & Coconut Brown)
10mm Satin Ribbon, Tan
6mm Satin Ribbon, Grosgrain, Saddle Brown
Felt (Dark Green & Grass Green & White)
Scissors

How to make a felt Christmas tree decoration with beads?

Step 1: make leaves

1st, cut out seven or eight strips in different lengths from dark green and grass green felt respectively. Trim one long side of all strips into tassels;
2nd, take a strip and roll it from one end;
3rd, roll the strip into a cylinder with tassels upwards. It’s one leaf of the Christmas tree. Secure the leaf with glue;
4th, use the same way to make other leaves. We need fifteen leaves in all.

Step 2: finish the tree

1st, cut out a triangle from white felt. Glue a leave on the top of the white triangle with leaving a small space for ribbon bow, and then glue remaining leaves by increasing one in every row. The choices of colors can be go-as-you-please;
2nd, glue some peru imitation pearls between each two rows of leaves dispersedly;
3rd, fold a simple bow with tan satin ribbon and glue it on the top of the white triangle;
4th, glue a coconut brown imitation pearl in the center of the bow. Cut out a strip of saddle brown grosgrain ribbon and a strip of grass green felt. Glue the grosgrain ribbon on the felt strip, then glue them at the bottom of the white triangle as trunk.
