An Easy Way of Making a Beaded Pansy Flower Bracelet with Ribbon
Summary: This time I will teach you how to make a beaded pansy flower bracelet with a ribbon as base. It requires sewing but really simple.
The advantage of making a ribbon bracelet is that you don’t have to attach a clasp. It’s convenient to put on and take off with tying the ribbon, also it’s easier to make. For adding more fun to the bracelet, I made three beaded flowers in different colors, and I named it pansy flower bracelet. It seems that the combination of beaded flowers and ribbon is great.
Materials and tools for making a beaded pansy flower bracelet:
How to make a beaded pansy flower bracelet with ribbon?
Step 1: make a green beaded flower
Snip a brass wire measuring 20cm or so and slide seven green jade beads on the wire keeping 1cm from the end. Bend the beaded part into a loop and wrap the 1cm end around the long tail.
Slide seven beads on the long tail, make a loop again and wrap the end around the middle of two beaded loops. Continue to make the last beaded loop. Here the green beaded flower is done.
Step 2: make another two beaded flowers
Use the same way to make a purple beaded flower and a yellow beaded flower. I added one more bead on each loop of the yellow flower to make it larger.
Step 3: sew beaded flowers on ribbon
Cut out a strip of satin ribbon measuring longer than your wrist, because the excess part will be tied as a closure. Sew three beaded flowers on the ribbon with similar thread in place.
The brass wire is flexible and easy to bend by hand. You don’t need any tool when creating the beaded flowers. The colors of beaded flowers in this pansy bracelet are selected according to my preference. Feel free to change!
