Necessities for wire wrapping emerald green birthstone necklace:
0.5mm golden brass wire
10mm green faceted glass bead
Golden cross chain
Round nose plier
Flat nose plier
Wire cutter
Instructions on DIY emerald green birthstone necklace:
Step 1: Messy wire wrap emerald green bead
1st, cut a 50cm length of golden brass wire and string a green glass bead;
2nd, leave a 10cm short tail and bend the long tail into 90 degrees;
3rd, wrap the long tail around bead counter clockwise;
4th, repeat such wire wrapping four or five times, and try to make the coils nicely crossed and evenly distributed around the short tail;
5th, bend the short tail into 90 degrees;
6th, make messy wire wrapped loop with pliers;
7th, cut off excess wire.
Step 2: Finish the birthstone necklace
1st, slide the wire wrapped birthstone pendant onto golden chain;
2nd, close the clasp at back.
