12mm Resin Cabochons, Half Round, White
Sewing Threads (Purple & Pink & White)

How to make a triple flowers hair clip?

Step 1: cut petals

1st, cut out six semicircles from purple felt, five from pink and white felt respectively. The sizes can be different. Here the largest size I cut is 3cm and the smallest is 1.5cm. Trim the arc edge of each semicircle into wavy edge as petals;
2nd, take one purple petal and running stitch half of the bottom side;
3rd, overlap another purple petal on the unstitched part of the first one;
4th, continue to running stitch the second petal with the same thread, and still stitch half.

Step 2: make felt flowers

1st, repeat above steps to running stitch all purple petals;
2nd, pull the thread tightly, the petals will be gathered. Then adjust the petals into a flower and sew both ends;
3rd, make another two felt flowers with pink and white petals in the same way;
4th, cut out an oval white felt measuring same length as hair barrette. Glue the hair barrette on the felt in place.

Step 3: glue felt flowers on hair barrette

1st, glue three felt flowers on the other side of the white oval felt adjacently;
2nd, glue a resin cabochon at the center of each felt flower.
