Summary: Want to know how to make a simple beaded angel? This tutorial will teach you step by step to make a blue beaded angel for Christmas holiday!
The angel ornaments I often see is always white, khaki or Christmas theme colors (that is red and green); this time, when I decide to make a beaded angel, I eagerly want to change an unusual color. As angel belongs to celestial world, relating to sky and stars, I prefer to make a beaded angel in blue color, like Kagaya does.
The necessities for a beaded angel:
16mm white Mashan jade bead
10mm blue acrylic beads
6mm blue acrylic beads
4mm blue opaque seed beads
4mm golden spacer beads
0.5mm golden brass wire
Round nose plier
Flat nose plier
Instructions on how to make a beaded angel:
Step 1: Wire wrap the upper half of angel
1st, cut a 60cm length of brass wire and string 10 golden spacer beads onto wire;
2nd, cross wire ends through the white jade bead and tighten the wire; angel’s head and luminous ring are done;
3rd, twine wire ends together below the white bead, and the neck is done;
4th. String onto left end 30 blue seed beads, add the 31st bead and back the end through the 30th;
5th, tighten the wire and string another 20 seed beads;
6th, coil wire end around neck part, so the left wing is done;
7th, repeat to make the right wing.
Step 2: Bead the lower half of angel
1st, twine the two ends again;
2nd, cross both ends through a 10mm acrylic bead;
3rd, tighten the wire and continue doing such right angle weave stitch;
4th, use 6mm acyclic beads to finish second, third and fourth rows;
5th, at fifth row, replace acrylic beads with 10 opaque blue seed beads;
6th, at sixth row use 5 10mm acrylic beads;
7th, back both ends through the upper beads and cut off excess wire.
Step 3: Finish the beaded angel ornament
1st, pick 1ocm length of golden cross chain;
