How to Make Layered Ribbon Flower Elastic Hair Ties in a Simple Way

This is a two-layered ribbon flower elastic hair tie. Wearing it in your hair, the little flowers will give you a huge attraction. 25mm Satin Ribbons (Purple & Pink & Burgundy)
22mm Metal Shank Button
Felt (Not Shown)
Sewing Thread
Elastic Hair Tie
Needle

How to make a layered ribbon flower elastic hair tie?

Step 1: make two ribbon flowers

1st, cut out three strips of purple satin ribbons that two strips measuring 6cm and another one measuring 5cm. Use the same way to cut out three pink ribbon strips and three burgundy ones;
2nd, take three different colors of longer ribbon strips and fold them in half. Running stitch the bottom ends to link them;
3rd, running stitch the remaining three longer strips alternately in the same way and pull the thread tightly. Sew both ends to make a ribbon flower;
4th, do the same with three shorter ribbon strips to make a small ribbon flower.

Step 2: add button and hair tie

1st, glue the small ribbon flower on the large one;
2nd, attach a button without shank to the center of the flowers;
3rd, glue a hair tie at the backside of the flowers with a felt strip covered.
