Summary: Here is an easy demonstration of making beaded Christmas garland to enrich your Christmas costume. The beaded garland can be used to make a necklace, earring and other decoration.
Garland is no longer an embellishment to fill up the wall or door, but also a perfect component while making Christmas accessories and beautifying a Christmas tree. So, today’s project will show you how to make a beaded garland hanging ornament within half an hour. Furthermore, just inches of wire and several beads are required!
Supplies needed for making a beaded garland:
8mm Faceted Round Glass Beads
4mm Round Seed Beads
Jumpring
Chain
Lobster Claw Clasp
0.35mm Tiger Tail Wire
Wire Cutter Pliers
Side Cutting Pliers
Instructions on making the beaded garland:
Step 1: Cut a 50cm piece of wire, slide 7 glass beads and 7 seed beads to form a beaded loop at center location.
Step 2: Add 2 seed beads on the left wire and then 3 seed beads, 1 glass bead and 2 seed beads on the right one. Finally, form a loop by threading the left end through the last seed bead on right wire.
Step 3: Take the left wire, string 2 seed beads, thread through the adjacent 4mm seed bead of starting center loop and then add another 2 seed beads; on the right wire, just add the following beads: 1 seed bead, 1 glass bead and 2 seed beads. Finally, form a loop by threading the left wire through the last seed bead on right wire.
Step 4: Repeat the 3rd step for the rest 4 loops.
Step 5: In the last loop, you'll only need to add 1 seed bead, 1 glass bead and 1 seed bead on the right wire. Then, cross the two wire ends through the central seed bead of 1st loop.
Now, you’ve almost finished the beaded Christmas garland! In the rest work, weaving the leftover wire through beads to get them stuck firmly. Trim any excess if necessary.
Step 6: Hang the garland on to chain with a jumpring and here is your first beaded Christmas ornament!
It’s so cute, right?
So, here is the beaded Christmas ornament. Besides, you can also turn it into an earring dangle or a necklace pendant by scaling the size of beads. I’m sure that will make you the most “Christmas” star! Love of beauty is taste and the creation of beauty is art. Just get your beads and find inspiration outdoors.
