How to make a felt Christmas card holder with beads?

Step 1: cut out four layers and sew embellishments

1st, cut out a rounded rectangle from light green felt measuring 15*8cm. Then cut another three rounded rectangles from different felts measuring 1cm shorter in length than the largest one. Trim one side of the smallest rectangle into wavy edge as the picture show;
2nd, sew a chandelier alloy link on the smallest rectangle in place;
3rd, sew a simple outline of a tree above the link;
4th, glue a shank button atop the tree with cutting the shank.

Step 2: add beads and ribbons

1st, glue some beads you like on the tree dispersedly as flowers;
2nd, lay four layers of rectangles orderly and cut out a strip of grosgrain ribbon measuring 28cm;
3rd, glue the ribbon around the bottom side of the rectangles. When getting to the back side, only glue 3cm at each side. Fold both tails outwards, then loop inwards again. Glue the ends;
4th, cut a strip of grosgrain ribbon measuring 7cm, make a loop and glue both ends. Glue it in the middle of the long ribbon with a 6mm red bead.

2nd, bring needle through the loop of thread;
3rd, pull the thread tightly, then continue to sew. This is the blanket stitch;
4th, blanket stitch the edges of these four layers except the opening.
