DIY Flower Jewelry - How to Make a Sunflower Bracelet with Beads and Felt

6mm Wood Beads, Abacus, Red
3mm Elastic Cord, Black
Sewing Threads (Green & Gold)
Needle

Hot Glue Gun (Not Shown)

How to make a sunflower bracelet with beads?

Step 1: make the base of bracelet

1st, cut out two strings of elastic cords measuring your wrist;
2nd, cut out two strips from flower cloth measuring 2cm shorter than elastic cords;
3rd, wrap each elastic cord with a cloth strip and secure with glue;
4th, glue one end of two elastic cords together to link two cords.

Step 2: make a felt button closure

1st, cut out three or more strips from dark green felt;
2nd, wrap the linked end of elastic cord with one felt strip and secure with glue;
3rd, wrap the other end to cover the exposed elastic cords and make a button at the end. For making the button closure, I folded the excessive elastic cords a little and wrapped them with a felt strip, then glue for securing. You can make it better if you have a more ingenious way;
4th, try whether the button closure works well.

Step 3: make two felt flowers

1st, cut out seven small rectangles from dark green felt and seven from yellow felt, measuring 4cm long or so;
2nd, trim them into triangles with round edges;
3rd, running stitch the bottom side of the yellow felt and pull the thread tightly to gather the side as a petal;
4th, make another six petals in the same way and thread them to make a flower;
5th, do the same to make a dark green flower;
6th, here are two felt flowers.

Step 4: add beads

1st, glue the yellow felt flower on the dark green one with staggering each other;
2nd, glue a 12mm yellow bead in the center of the felt flower with a circle of red wood beads around;
3rd, glue the felt flowers on the bracelet in place;
4th, glue two circles of 6mm white beads at each side of the bracelet, like four small white flowers.
