How to make the string charm bracelet?

Step 1: Make the string loop

Cut 2 pieces of waxed cord, one 100cm and one 50cm. Fold the two cords in half and then take the longer cord to wrap around the shorter one for several times. Next, loop the wrapped area to make sure it may allow one red heart charm to pass through. Finally, close and secure the loop by doing 3 extra wraps and 2 half hitches with same cord end. (For the illustrated details, please refer to the old posts on making string bracelets)

Step 2: Start to make the square knot

1st, regard the two shorter ends as main holding ends and make the first square knot (square knot bracelet tutorial);
2nd, string one 4mm spacer bead per working end and then make another square knot;
3rd, replace the 4mm spacer bead on right working end with a red heart charm and then make a square knot;
4th, repeat the 2nd and 3rd procedures alternately.
During that, add a different type of charm if you desire a diverse pattern.
