How to Make Floral Statement Earrings with Beads and Wire

I have a stunning beaded flower earring to share with you today that finished in warm orange and red. The focal design in the earrings is the beaded pattern in center location. If you enjoy making beaded statement earrings you will find this to be a challenging yet fun project, even if you aren’t experienced! Here we go!

Supplies needed for the floral earrings:

Imitation Jelly Acrylic Pendants
8mm Natural Agate Beads Strands
6mm Gemstone Bead Strands
6mm Natural Mashan Jade Beads
2mm Clear Round Seed Beads
Tibetan Style Earstud Components
Plastic Earring Earnuts
0.35mm Nylon Wire
0.5mm Brass Wire

How to make the beaded statement earrings?

Step 1: Bead the focal flower earring component

1st, cut a 40cm piece of nylon wire;
2nd, slide five 6mm jade beads to the center location;
3rd, gather up both wire ends and string one 6mm gemstone bead (black);
4th, direct the newly added gemstone downwards to the center of 6mm jade beads. Next, take the two ends and thread through two 6mm jade beads as picture shows;
5th, tighten the wires and cross through another 6mm jade bead;



6th, take the right wire end and slide the following beads: three 2mm seed beads, one 8mm agate bead and three 2mm seed beads;
7th, take the left end and thread through the last three 2mm seed beads from bottom;
8th, slightly tighten the wires;
9th; back to the right end again, slide one 8mm agate bead and three 2mm seed beads on it. Next, thread the left end through the adjacent 6mm jade bead and then the last three seed beads;
10th, repeat the 9th procedure on above for the rest parts of flower. Notice that in the 6th agate you do not need to add the seed beads;



11th, hold either of the two wire ends to supplement three 2mm seed beads between each two agate beads;
12th, weave the nylon wires through the adjacent beads to meet at same position. Knot securely and stuck the wires at beads;
13th, repeat all procedures on above for the other flower component.

Step 2: Assemble the drop acrylic bead and ear stud

1st, cut a 15cm piece of brass wire;
2nd, string the acrylic bead and beaded flower component;
3rd, twist two wires and wrap the excess parts around the top of acrylic bead;
4th, cut another short piece of brass wire and attach the earstud onto the other side of beaded flower;



5th, repeat same process for the other earring.

Voilà! So far, the gorgeous statement floral earrings are finished!

Just make a statement with such statement floral earrings at once! To be honest, when attached the exaggerating acrylic pendant I found my attention is entirely attracted by it. ;) One way or another, however, this pair of dainty earrings is my best achievement today! Enjoy yourself!
