How to Make a Personalized Fabric Chain Necklace with Beads for Girls

What do you need for making a chain necklace?

How to make a fabric chain necklace with beads?

Step 1: sew the T-shirt and skirt

1st, cut out two T-shirt shapes from black flower cloth which the longest distance between two sleeves is about 6.5cm, a strip from dark red dot cloth measuring 9*1cm and a rectangular piece from dark red dot cloth measuring 16*4.5cm;
2nd, fold 1cm inwards at one end of the rectangular cloth and start to running stitch one long side;
3rd, pull the thread slightly and running stitch the cloth strip along both long sides;
4th, sew the cloth strip on the rectangular cloth with aligning the top long side;
5th, fold both ends of the rectangular cloth toward the back. Continue to sew the cloth strip to finish the skirt;
6th, straight stitch two T-shirt shapes along the edge and sew it with the skirt.

Step 2: add chain and leather cord

1st, slide a glass pendant on a piece of brass chain with a jump ring and place the pendant on the t-shirt in place;
2nd, cut a long leather cord which is long enough and make two knots to attach both ends of the brass chain with two short pieces of brass wires by wrapping. Insert both ends of the leather cord between two T-shirt shapes and secure with thread;
3rd, wrap a hemp rope twice around the skirt and tie a bowknot. Cut excess ropes.
