How to make hair ties with ribbons?

Step 1: make the bottom layer ribbon flower

1st, cut a strip of 10mm wide purple ribbon measuring 12cm and fold it in half with crossing both ends and making the right side of two tails at front;
2nd, glue the ends of the strip as a large petal and make another five petals;
3rd, arrange six petals with same intervals and overlap the ends together in the center.

Step 2: make the middle layer ribbon flower

1st, cut a strip of 6mm wide purple ribbon measuring 8cm. Make a simple loop and glue both ends as a smaller petal;
2nd, repeat the step to make another five petals;
3rd, glue six smaller petals on the large flower in the same way with laying them at the intervals.

Step 3: make the top layer ribbon flower

1st, cut nine strips of burgundy ribbons measuring 6cm;
2nd, use the way of making 6mm wide purple ribbon petals to make nine smallest petals;
3rd, glue all smallest petals on the second layer flower next to each other with the ends overlapped too.

Glue a resin cabochon in the center of the flower and a hair tie at back with a small strip of ribbon covered. You’ve finished this ribbon flower hair tie.
