Summary: A recycled DIY project that shows how to make your own eye-catching rhinestone cluster earrings with old brooch finding and leftover beads in less than 20 minutes merely!
In today’s recycle earrings project, you will be taught to make a pair of DIY rhinestone costume earrings inspired by the fashion-forward J.Crew inspirations. This is really easy to do that once you get a hot melt glue gun at hands. What’s more, an old brooch finding would be a perfect substitution even when there is no bezel available! Here we go!
Supplies needed for the recycled earrings:
Brooch Finding
Acrylic Rhinestone Cabochon
Acrylic Rhinestone Link
Earring Hooks
Jumprings
Hot Melt Glue Gun
Wire Cutter Pliers
How to make the rhinestone cluster earrings?
Step 1: Remove the brooch pin
Take the brooch findings and remove the pin part with pliers carefully.
Step 2: Glue on the acrylic rhinestone cabochons
1st, decide the pattern of your earrings;
2nd, glue the cabochons at proper locations with glue gun. In my cluster earrings, I use five small-sized green pieces at the top corner and one pink heart piece surrounded by 9 oval black ones fills the rest area;
3rd, wait until dry completely.
Step 3: Attach the earring hooks
1st, at the two loops on top corner, string two jumprings;
2nd, hook the two jumprings with an earring hook;
3rd, close the jumprings off.
Repeat the 3 steps above to make the other rhinestone earring!
Once dried and cooled, there you’ve made your upcycle rhinestone earrings. No tricky techniques or expensive materials are required! Quick, easy and effective diy earrings refashion!
