How to Make a Personalized Ribbon Bow Headband with Check Pattern

38mm Polyester Ribbon, Red, Checked
25mm Polyester Ribbon, Brown, Checked
6mm Satin Ribbons (Red, Green and Brown)
Metal Shank Button
Headband
Needle
Scissors
Double-Sided Tape
Glue
How to make a ribbon headband?
Step 1: wrap headband
1st, wrap the headband with double-sided tape;
2nd, stick both sides of the red checked ribbon with appropriate length to wrap the headband;
3rd, cut two strips of brown satin ribbon and glue them to wrap the ends of headband by covering the checked ribbon.
Step 2: make a bow
1st, make sure the length of brown checked ribbon can make six loops at each side; use your forefinger and thumb to pinch the middle of the brow ribbon, then make a loop as the bottom layer and pinch it, continue to make the rest of five loops, note that simply decrease the ribbon length by 1” for each layer you add. Secure the loops with thread;
2nd, fold the other end in the same way. You will get a folded bow;
3rd, cut a strip of brown satin ribbon and stick it to cover the wrong side of the headband for embellishing.
Step 3: make another two bows
1st, glue the folded bow on headband in place;
2nd, fold a bow with red satin ribbon and glue it on the folded bow;
3rd, make a larger green bow with a button attached in the middle.
Step 4: finish the work
1st, glue the green bow on the red bow;
2nd, wrap the middle of the bows with headband using a strip of red satin ribbon and glue both ends.
