How to make the long beaded necklace?
Step1: Make the jade bead pendant
About making bails for the jade bead, you can refer to the information at our Wire Wrap Techniques.
In this turquoise bead necklace, you may need 8 units of such pendants.
Step2: String the beaded strands
1st, cut a length of 0.5mm tiger tail wire, measuring about 50cm long;
2nd, fold the wire in half and attach to a jumpring;
3rd, string the unit consists of flat round turquoise beads, natural jade beads and 6mm abacus beads.
4th, for the inside shorter strand, string: 10 flat round turquoise beads, 1 abacus bead, 7 flat round turquoise beads, 1 abacus bead, 1 natural jade bead pendant, 1 abacus bead, 7 flat round turquoise beads, 1 abacus bead, 1 natural jade bead pendant.
After that, repeat the processes backwards for the other side of the beaded strand.
5th, use a crimp bead to add another jumpring at end as beginning;
6th, for the longer beaded strand, cut the wire, attach to jumpring using crimp bead, and string the unit involved 15 flat round turquoise beads, 2 abacus beads and 1 natural jade bead pendant.
Step3: Attach two strands of thread
1st, cut two lengths of 2mm nylon thread, each measures about 50cm long;
2nd, fold the thread in half and thread through the jumpring;
3rd, pull two ends be equal and anchor it near the jumpring by using a crimp bead cover;
4th, repeat the same process for the other side!
