Make Beaded Pumpkin Ornament for Home Decoration on Halloween Day

Beaded pumpkin ornaments are easy to make and lots of fun for any age. They can be hung as a creative décor at home, or fasten onto bag as a delicate accessory. The following is the instructions on how to make beaded pumpkin ornament with copper wire and seed beads.

Materials and tools:

0.5mm orange copper wire

0.8mm orange copper wire

0.5mm green copper wire

8mm orange flat round acrylic bead

6mm orange stone beads

6mm green stone beads

Jump rings

Round nose plier

Flat nose plier

Wire cutter

Instructions:

Step 1: Make beaded pumpkin

1st, pick a 50cm length of 0.5mm orange copper wire, coil the wire around a jump ring 4-5 times;

2nd, slide 12 orange beads onto wire, coil rest wire around another jump ring several times and arch the beaded part;

3rd, continue beading and coiling, making sure any arched beaded part is 45 degree against its neighbor;

4th, there will be 8 arched beaded parts.

5th, pick a 15cm length of 0.8mm orange copper wire, fold it in half, string an orange flat acrylic bead and the pumpkin;

6th, wrap the two ends around the bottom jump ring of the pumpkin, cut off excess wire.

Step 2: Add pumpkin leaf

1st, pick a 25cm length of 0.5mm green copper wire, loop one end;

2nd, string 30 green beads and loop the other end;

3rd, thread the beaded wire through the top loop of the pumpkin, and then wrap the both ends into leaf shape.
