How to Make Cute Artistic Earrings with Wire and Turquoise Beads

Supplies needed in the wire earrings tutorial:

8mm Round Turquoise Bead
2mm Aluminum Wire
0.5mm Brass Wire
Earring Hook
Round Nose Plier
Side Cutting Plier
Flat Nose Plier

How to make earrings with wire and beads?

Step1: make the wire wrapped frame

1st, cut a 34cm piece of 2mm aluminum wire;
2nd, keep 3.5cm at beginning and bend the wire into a V-shape;
3rd, curve the wire around the bottom of round nose plier for a 2cm-high drop shape as picture show;



4th, make another 5 drop shapes using your pliers;
5th, keep 2.5cm at end and trim off the excess wire tail;



6th, make a small loop with 1cm wire at top of longer wire end.

Step2: warp with brass wire and add the focal bead

1st, cut a length of 0.5mm brass wire, measuring about 40cm long;
2nd, start to wrap the two wire ends close to the top loop;
3rd, at the center of wire frame, string a turquoise bead on wire and fasten the wire at opposite position on the frame.

Step3: attach the earring hook

Open the loop on earring hook and attach the pendant. Close the loop and this is one earring!

Step4: make another earring

Repeat the steps 1~3 for the other earring!
